General Council: The Transit Riders Union currently has eight elected officers, who together make up the General Council. Officers take on specific administrative roles and it is their responsibility to coordinate the work of TRU work-groups and committees and to make necessary decisions in between monthly Membership Meetings. Officers of the TRU are:
- General Secretary: Wes Mills
- Assisting Secretary: Beau Morton
- Recording Secretary: Tony D’Amico
- Treasurer: Jay Austin
- Disability & Access Officer: Kristina Sawyckyj
- Communications: Simon Kreft
- Outreach: Eric Keto
- Transit Advocacy: Camille Gix
TRU also has a General Manager who handles the day-to-day running of the organization (equivalent to an Executive Director in similar groups): Lam Ho
