UW Pass or Fail? Solidarity Rally

Rally in solidarity with UW workers bargaining for full transit benefits! We’ll be gathering on the sidewalk at NE Pacific St & Montlake Blvd NE, near the UW Medical Center and the UW Light Rail Station.

It’s time for the University of Washington to join other major institutions in Seattle/King County in providing free transit passes to all their employees. We want UW to be a climate leader and a transit champion, not a low-road employer. We’re asking UW to do the right thing and provide full transit benefits for all UW employees starting in fall 2018.

On August 16th, bargaining teams from SEIU 925, WFSE 1488, SEIU 1199, WSNA, and UAW 4121 will be meeting with the administration to negotiate transportation benefits for UW workers. Community allies will be joining union members at a rally outside to show our solidarity and support!
