What: Community Forum on Metro Cuts and the Transit Funding Crisis
When: Thursday, January 16, 12:00 – 2:00 pm or 4:00 – 6:00 pm (there are two sessions to accommodate students’ class schedules; both are open to the public)
Where: Broadway Performance Hall, 1625 Broadway Avenue (between Howell and Pine St., served by Metro routes 8, 9x, 10, 11, 43, 49, 60)
Who: YOU! This event is open to the public and all are invited. There will be a panel of speakers followed by questions, discussion and a call to action!
These bus route cuts will cause problems, High cost of gasoline to workers driving, not able to find parking ,waiting hours and hours in traffic, long hours communting home each day, arrive to work someday late , less time for family for being over tried, cause more accidents to and from work. These bus route are design to help workers getting them to work on time and elswhere. Is there someone who can help with this funding crisis public tranisit has rise the fare but is there something that the new Mayor has to offer. Don’t fix it if not broken . The bus route will cause more worker to rise the unemployed status. Safe Washington Bus Routes workers need to RIDE.
